Are you in "the Zone?" Use our interactive map to find out if your business property is located in one of Providence's two Enterprise Zones. If so, you could be opening the door to additional tax incentives for your enterprise.
Type in the address of the property you are trying to locate, including street number, street name, and street extension (street, avenue, etc.-abbreviations are accepted).
For Example: 400 Westminster Street can also be entered as 400 Westminster St
To use this interactive map, properties must have a Providence address. For properties located in other cities/towns (such as East Providence or North Providence) please visit the RIEDC to find out if your town has an enterprise zones.
Note: If your property appears to be close to the zone boundary, please contact us to verify its location in an enterprise zone.
Providence Enterprise Zones
Businesses that are located in designated enterprise zones are eligible for tax incentives when growing their workforce. More information on Enterprise Zone program
Providence HubZone
Businesses located in designated areas can participate in the federal HUBZone program, which provides assistance in procuring federal government contracts
Neighborhood Markets (Citywide)
Businesses located in designated Neighborhood Market areas receive are eligible for special programs
Providence Historic Districts
Businesses located in a designated historic district must receive approval from the Providence Historic District Commission for any exterior alterations. For more information, contact Jason Martin
Redevelopment Project Areas
Businesses located in one of the City's designated Redevelopment Project Areas automatically meet the criterion for elimination of slum/blight for loan applications
